Abstrakti

 

Luontopohjaiset ratkaisut ovat monihyötyisiä yhteiskunnallisten ongelmien ratkaisuja, jotka perustuvat luonnon prosessien luomiin mahdollisuuksiin ja ottavat mallia ekosysteemien toiminnasta. Ne vastaavat laaja-alaisiin, kytkeytyneisiin ongelmiin tarjoamalla tavanomaisille, teknistä näkökulmaa painottaville ratkaisuille vaihtoehdon, joka tähtää ekologisesti, sosiaalisesti ja taloudellisesti kestäviin ratkaisuihin. Tarkastelemme kansainvälisen tutkimuskirjallisuuden kautta, miten luontopohjaisten ratkaisujen ideaa on käsitteellistetty erityisesti monihyötyisyyden näkökulmasta. Käsittelemme myös luontopohjaisten ratkaisujen toimeenpanon edistämiskeinoja Suomessa asiantuntijatyöpaja-aineiston kautta.
