Management Education and Planetary Well-Being

The topic of this dissertation is responsible management education and planetary well-being as a new goal and perspective in this field. Management education refers to studies resulting in bachelor's and master's degrees in business and economics offered in business schools. The universities or faculties whose subjects include management and organizations, marketing, accounting, entrepreneurship, international business, finance, and economics, are considered business schools. Planetary well-being is a concept that refers to the processes of the prerequisites for life and the species-typical needs of life on Earth, considering the interdependencies of these different life forms and the ecosystems they inhabit.
In my doctoral dissertation and this speech, I argue that planetary well-being requires the recognition and practical application of authenticity, organisational rhythms, and processuality in management education and more broadly in society.
